SCIENCE REFLECTION
BY: MARIA ERZ

I enjoyed studying the universe. I enjoyed it because I like making power points. Also it helps me have a better memory. Last but not least I did really well on it, and still remember most of it. It was sort of hard but I’m very proud of my work.

Some things I learned in class are that minerals have different types of ways to describe them, like luster and streak! Also we learned that the world is split into things called plate tectonics witch are 20 different moving plates. There are still ssssssssoooooooooo much more! I really loved learning about it.We also learned about plants. How they make energy and a lot of other cool stuff.

I would apply what I now about minerals to the real world is if I was a person who worked with jewelry I would need to know about it. Also If I became a science teacher I would have to be able to teach my students about plate tectonics. It would be very important to know this because if I was a teacher and I did know any thing about it, how am I supposed to teach it to my class. Well that answer is simple! I can't. This is why it is very important that I know these things so I can apply it to the real world. Also I could apply what I learned about plants to the real world if I was a botanist. A botanist is someone who studies plant life. Maybe if I were a botanist when I was older I would really need to know about plants in order to do my job! Hopefully I will continue to learn cool stuff in science.
